1. I burnt my finger trying to light a candle. =[ My nail got burnt. I hate lighters! Matches are the only way to go.
2. It reached 93 yesterday apparently....see, funny thing- is that I could have sworn it was hotter on Monday at 79. I am not liking this...
3. Joseph calls me yesterday at about 1, and really this is about how everything went:
Joe: Mary, I sprained my ankle and I am headed to the doctor.
Me: The company going to pay for it?
Joe: Yes
Me: *Now able to be concerned* Are you ok? How did it happen?
Joe: I jumped 9 inches and landed on a rock.
Me: Ok. Well get home soon.*Thinking his ankle will be broken*
******** 3 hours later******
*Joe walks in with an orthopedic boot on and using crutches*
Joe: It is just badly sprained. Have to wear this for a month and use crutches and go to physical therapy. It might be fractured- and it might take 6 months to heel.
Oh joy it is not broken!!!
(NOTE: It isn't like I am only concerned about money and not the welfare of my husband...because I am. It is just I am used to Joe saying, "Mary I broke my hand, I scratched up my arm really bad, I got my hand hun up on a fence, I almost cut off my finger" That spraining his ankle is not of any big alert anymore. That is all.)BUT on the good side of things:
SISTER ERIN MAUREEN "MIMI" KEELIN ENTERS THE MTC TODAY!!!!!! =]
My parents drove to LA early this morning, and she will fly to Salt Lake and meet up with lots others and head off to the MTC! =] She was set apart, and is ready to serve! I am so happy for her. She will be great!
