You say you want a REVOLUTION

Yesterday was a storm day in Rexburg!  It was 'Raining' when I woke up- and by 3 in the afternoon it was deffinately raining with thunder and lightening to boot.  My roommates and I had stayed up till about 3:00 watching movies, so we all pretty much slept in till at lest 11:00, which felt like a complete waist of the day.  The weekends speed by here, by 2 in the afternoon I have barely done anything- which really stinks.
I ended up working on my lesson for Relief Society, doing Homewor
k and writting letters.  Around 3:00 I went with Sister Jones and we got lost driving around Rexburg- they have some really pretty houses here!  And somewhere we saw random chickens crossing the road- only in Idaho.  And we saw and Elk farm and horses and cows- which I could find in California, but they were in the rain and playing!  Which made it better.  We went to see Rachel Williams and her husband/baby/in-laws.  She was in our ward for a few months last year, and the Williams lived in AG for about 18 years, Sister Williams did stuff with Girls Camp, so I sorta new them.  Then we went and did some shopping and then ate dinner and just talked.  At about 6:30 I got to talk to Sister Beatse!  Which made me so happy!  =]

On friday this company called Apex which sells Alarm had this huge party that they have ever

y year.  They are the biggest alarm system company in the world and have this party to recruite people.  A lot of people go, and they literally give away money.  It was crazzy.  Plus they had free pizza and food, lots of things to do and it was crazy how much money they put out- but it was boring really.   Then me and the other 2nd warders watched some movies.

Today I gave my lesson in Relief Society- it went well I think!  People told me I did well so I hope that I did!  I feel good about it. =]  It was about the Plan of Salvation.  We had a stake fireside, which was like 2 1/2 hours!  I bit too long really...but o-well.

This past thursday a girl a few dorms down that basically lives with us had a birthday.  She just walks in whenever the door is unlocked- and when it is locked she looks through the window and tells me to open the door- becuase of course I am always sitting in my chair doing homework, and then I call someone else that is home and tell them the door is for them- yep. Luckily that hasn't happened to much becuase it has yet to work.  But it was fun, we went to Applebee's.

School and everything is going well.  I am continuing to meet new people and to have a good time. =]
