Just and update so you can see how I am doing...

The 5 minute walk to the Rexburg Temple is AMAZING!  When I go to work each morning, it is, of course, dark, and I walk headed towards the Temple so I get to see it all lit up in its beauty.  And at night when your heading back towards campus it definatley stands out, its amazing, especially when you have those really pretty sunsets with pink and orange.
I am very excited for this week to be over.  It has had a lot of work, and I have almost got it all done!  I took a math test that I didn't due to well on and that took me 2 hours in the testing center to complete, but I still have the take home portion which I will pass!  And I just have to get through my math class and English class and go to the writing center tomorrow for my essay and I am done for the week!  I am so excited.  =]
Today after I got done with all of my tests and classes today I came back and me and my roommates made and ate Ice Cream sundaes!  My parents sent me like bananas, ice crea, syrup, cool whip, the whole deal through some service here in Rexburg and so we had a nice treat before we walked to the Temple.  Being in the Temple was so relaxing.  And it was so cool to be in a different Temple other then the LA one.  I mean, I love the LA temple, it was just a nice change.  =] We were afraid we would not get in, but we did!  And it was great!  This weekend is supposed to be the beginning of the snow season,  I guess Nov. 1st marks that, and this past week although the mornings and nights have been a bit chilly the day's have been warm in the 70's.  =]  It has been so nice to see people lounging outside on the grass once again.  I will miss the green.
I feel so behind on pictures!  But I will update better soon!  Gosh.  Things are definately exciting here though.  The other day in my Book of Mormon class the last 10 min of class our teacher freaked out on us and dismissed us early, it was crazy....but whatever.  And the best part about this week, is that I think I have only eaten pizza once, maybe twice!!!! A record, I know!  =]  A personal best I must say!
I have no clue what will be happening this weekend will Halloween and all, I really am not too excited about it.... the school is having a carnival or dance or something, but I think staying home and watching scary movie and eating candy sounds dandy.  =]
I am really happy that tomorrow is friday.  I just need to get over to the writing center and my day will be smooth sailing from there!  =]

We were trying to make our way from our dorm to the upstairs lounge....we were caught in the act.  The others decided to put on coats so they would not get seen in their outfits.

Once we made it to the upper lounge- we tried our fun on the bike.  =] It is not meant for 4 people.

Let me introduce you:(from left to right)  Me, Josie, Chelsea, Brooke

Timers on cameras are truley amazing!!!

This is what I do in College- I am always getting stuck.

This would be in the begining of our photoshoot.  Brooke is the photographer, that is why she isn't in as many pictures.

Our pyramid!  =]

I didn't fit into the washer, I guess I will have to stick to the bath tub...

This is our laundry room.  These are our washers....where our clothes get washed.

This is Josie, I heart her!  She is from Canada to and she is super nice!
Two of my absolute FAVORTIEST Canadians EVER!  I love this picture of them.  =]  Josie and Canada.

=]  Just so much fun.
Once again, me and Josie.  Arn't our outfits trend setting?
The Rexburg Temple!  Isn't it so pretty!  And I get to see it everyday!
By the way...thanks to Brooke for letting me un-knowingly steal all of these picture from her!  =]
The front view in the day time.  =]

Back to the photoshoot....this must be one of my favorite pictures.  =]  Aww....pushing her in was such a great idea.  Where do I get this genius from?

My awesome dance moves in my awesome outfit.=]

According to recent studies....

Wow, I havn't updated in a while. Sorry about that!  This last week has been crazy!  Technically it was midterms, but non- of my classes did anything special, they just showed us our grades so far.  Except for some reason they all decided to give me a bunch of homework that I was trying to get done last week and continues on to this week.  The first half of my week last week I just could not get in my head that I needed to actually do homework and it took my till Thursday to get myself to spend more then an hour at the Library, but I got work done and I am now in the mindset to spend many more hours at the library this week as well.
Last week our roommate Candice's mom sent us all a care package- it was so cute!  It was to "To all the cute girls in 365 and Holly 2 doors donw."  Since Holly basically lives here anyway.  Canidce writes these "Stories"  about us on facebook about just crazy stupid non-realistic things that happen only when we are dreaming, and so her mom gave us each a bad with candy and little things that Candice describes us as- like my roommate Jessica got nail polish and a car freshener because she loves fashion and has a car.  Brooke is caller "You highness"  because she has her own room, so she got a crown, and I got plastic lips and halloween makeup stuff to never stop smiling. It was really cool of her mom, so now our room is sort of halloweened out.
It has been remarably pretty warm here lately, except this morning of course.  I froze at about 30 degree weather.

My weekend was fun.  It went by so fast though!  Definately not enough hours in the day for me to catch up on my major lack of sleep, do my homework, run errands, and have fun.  On friday my roommate Brooke, my friend Canada and our other friend from Canada- Josie- did a 'photoshoot' and just got dressed up all crazy, it was fun.  Saturday I went to the library, worked out, slept, went to choir practice, then me and the 3 other people I know from Santa Maria went to Idaho Falls and hung out.  That was nice being away from Rexburg and stuff.  =]  Sunday was a really nice day, and I made a cake!  It was yummy.  Now I am determined to make Chocolate Pancakes.

Oh, I will definately add pictures from the photoshoot soon.  =]

Why don't you like me without making me try....

I am now in Salt Lake! yay!  We ended up leaving Rexburg at about 5:15'ish yesterday, and I must say....I is a very exciting and nice feeling to be able to leave Rexburg.  Of course I do love BYU-I, I do, but it's still nice.  It took us a bit longer to get here this time, we got here a little before 9:00, and for dinner I ate Chinese Food.  all is good.  =]
My roommate found my keys, so that is good.  Although I am annoyed because I accidently slept through my math class yesterday, which has me greatly flustered.  My math class is from 9-1o am on MWF, so I normally come home from work and sleep for an hour, excpet I turn my phone of silent and I forogt to turn it off silent, therefore, my phone not waking me up.  I woke up at 9:53 thinking my class started at 10:00, got half way to class before I realized that It ends at 10:00, but I got to class right as it ended, and turned in my homework.  What a pain.
It was free day yesterday to!  THe Library was giving out cookies that you could frost, and there was free candy, and free samples of cookie dough(well, of course you are actually supposed to buy the cookie dough, but samples are free and good!) then apparently one of the buildings on campus gives free popcorn every friday!  It was so exciting.
And I actually got to sleep a straight about 8 hours!  It was amazing.  How nice.  =]

opps....

I forgot some pictures!  Bad Mary.  =]  Here are some more!!

Our night in the falling snow.  Brooke taking pictures, and I am walking down the stairs.  We got trash bags and attempted to slide down the hills once they got more snow- we decided it did not work to successful.
4 of my buddies here at Idaho!  =] I heart them.
Once upon a time Brooke Sarah and Mary were walking home when a man walking around in a rudolph costume appeared.  Wanting a picture with this man, Mary requested one-but they soon noticed a camera crew following him, and asked us if we would like to be in a commercial. Mary, in her quick witted ways, volunteered Sarah.  Sarah then held hands with the deer man and her role consisted of Rudolph proposing and her smacking him and walking away.  It took 2 attempts- due to the fact that we were all laughing in the first one.
More proof that I go and USE the library....in case you had any doubts.
Ooh! Here is the one I like a lot more, you can actually see the snow!  Exciting, huh?
The ammature and the Professional battle it out in a snow ball fight, she might have one this round- but I will surpass her soon!  (Yes, we did write on the car, "Let it snow")

Oh October

The earliest I have been to bed is maybe 10:30, with me waking up at 3:40 to go to work.  Last night I fell asleep at midnight because my roommate Brooke was doing a photo shoot with our legs and feet.  It was exciting.  Yesterday was just a busy, hectic and stressful and so really I calculate that I only really got about 2 hours of sleep last night.  It was hard, the first 1 1/2 hours of work I was ready to just lay down and sleep, but after a certain point I was just fine.  Finally after 3 hours of vacuuming I was able to go home.  Got in my apartment and in bed and asleep by 7:30.  I was out.
I woke up at noon to a request to go to lunch.  After lunch I came home then spent a good half hour at least stressing about and looking for my keys, which I am really annoyed about at the moment that I cannot find.  I had them when I got into my dorm this morning and now they have the nerve to disappear on me- I am really annoyed about this and I want my keys! I left them on the couch where I normally put the and now they are gone.  =[  This really annoys me.

Then I went to a forum for my math class and then went to Science and now I am at the Career and
Academic Advising office waiting to get helped to change my Major to I don't know what yet.....the it is to the library for homework, because I havn't even started any homework yet at it is close to 5.  Wow.  So, I am gonna work a lot tonight and tomorrow to get as much homework done as I can so I won't have to worry about it this weekend since I am going to Salt Lake City.

Yep.  That is me.  Just working, homework, eating pizza....because Pizza and a salad and ice cream is just about all I eat here.  Ya.

It has gotten warmer this week, I think today it got somewhere between 45- 50 degrees, nice, huh?  I hear it will get as warm as 60, which is amazing and sounds perfect right now!  So, all the snow is melted, which is ok.  It is cold enough in the morning when I go to class and I can see my breath all the way there, not just for the first 3 minutes.
You know what else?  When I come back from work at 7 am it is still as dark as it was at 4 am and it shows no sign of light, yet somehow my 8 the sun has come up.
I know, shocker.

And now, a BUNCH of over-due pictures for you to delight in.  =]

Canada and I, she is from Alberta so she was not as excited about the snow as a certain person from California....

Me and Holly, eating our usual meal at the Nordic.  Actually, we normally eat there 2 X a day.  I normally get pizza and a salad.  Yes, that averages out to a LOT of pizza in one week.  On Occasion I get a sandwich.
We took a lovely stroll to Hogi Yogi, and along the way took many pictures.  This is the proof that it snowed- and I was with it.  =]
We do not have a kitchen, but every Sunday we make dinner using the upper lounge kitchen, bu instead this past Sunday we used some guys from our wards kitchen, and they had a ninja mask- you may from now on call and know me as Ninja Mary.
This would be Sarah Bonn and I in Chapman hall rejoicing in the snow and delighting in the picturefulleness of it.  =]
This picture contains: Brooke, Sarah, Me and Canada.  We had stopped to scoop snow off of peoples car, throw a few, and eat some. =]
This is the proof that I do go to the library.  =]
On our way to Hogi Yogi everyone was like, "Mary, lick the pole" I was so close until I remembered I shouldn't- but the Canadian said it wasn't cold enough to do anything anyway, so I licked this pole, actually, just the snow.
My and Brooke! =]  yay!
There was actually a better one of this where you could see the snow- but I like this!  I was warm, wearing a thermal, long sleeve shirt, knitted socks, that yellow jacket, my scarf, hat, and gloves- all the warmest things I owned I had on.
Me, Sarah, Brooke, Holly and Canada, towards the end of our picture taking fun we needed a group picture. =]
I like this.  =]  Brooke, Canada and myself.
The Canadian with her weapon: a snowball.

Me eating the snow.

This was is called, "The am mature attacks the pro."  This that spot?  I totally got her.  =]  it was great.

A White Halloween...

12:24 Pm.   I was asleep. Why?  Because Mary is now an early morning custodian earning $7.55 an hour-15 hours per week.  4:00-7:00 am.  Early. First day was yesterday, didn't take a nap all day or go to bed till 1:00.  Hence, I slept a lot.  I have not been up for an hour and I am really tired and want to sleep more.
BUT.  I was awoken suddenly by yells from the outside world of my warm bed and my roommate, all in non-chorus shouting, "SNOW!"  It was snowing.  First lightly, then harder so that is sorta stuck to the ground, but eventually it has all melted.  We are supposed to have, "snow showers" this weekend, with eventually getting 1-2 inches of snow.  We will see what happens.
Ahhh......snow.  It is so exciting!!!! =]  I know in a few weeks I will get sick of it and freeze into a statue and never be able to move until I have thawed out in summer, but for now, I AM SO EXCITED!!! =]

Pictures to come.  =]

Its Canada, eh?

I can't believe how fast this week has gone!  It has been exhausting though.  I have had a lot of homework to do and a lot of things to get done!
I tried selling my Plasma earlier this week- it wasn't after I was there for 1 1/2 hours till they told me that I couldnt till November because I had just donated blood.  Blah.  O-well I guess.
I spent a lot of time in the Library this week, I have had projects that I have been working on and I need to continue to work on.
I got a job yesterday!  Yay!  =]  I am a custodian!  Now the fun part:  It is from 4:00-7:00 am!  =]  Yep!  My earliest class is 8 or 9, so I am good....except one day a week I have to wake up early to take a test for History that I will have to work through.  I start tomorrow, I am a bit nervous for the first day....but I am excited to be making $7.55 an hour! (Although it is cheaper then California.)
OMG! IT SNOWED TODAY!!! It was only for like 10 minutes and tiny flakes that melted once they hit the ground, but it was great!  I was in my science group at the time, 2 people are from Montana, 2 from Colorado, and 2 from California.  The 4 were no big deal of the snow- they found it pathetic, but the 2 of us from California RAN outside and danced in it.  It was amazing!!!!  =]  It is supposed to snow more this weekend.  Of course, it is CRAZY that I am wearing a jacket and freezing in October and that it is SNOWING!  And It is getting COLD!  But Its exciting for now!

A lot of the dorms around us have up Halloween decorations, so my and my roomies decided that we are going to start decorating for Christmas within the next week and playing christmas music, we will beat everyone else to it and be the coolest room ever!  =]

Tonight there is this like dorm dance that we are going to, that actually starts soon.  Umm...hmm.... what else has happened?  I saw some kid wearing an IN-N-OUT Utah t-shirt today and knew that something must be wrong with the world.  It was a pitiful site.

My friend Chelsea (Canada- what I call her) got a package from home today with Canadian chocolate, so I got to eat some, and I am fascinated with Canada and so want to visit!  I took pictures of course.  =]

Depending on if I have to work on saturdays or not I might be going back to Salt Lake City next weekend, I would really like to I have decided, it just all depends on if I work or not, which I hope is a no.
Did I mention it is cold?  It is.  It is cold.

This is for the Office fans out there.  My friend from home sent me a letter with this pictures with one of the main characters from the TV show Michael Scott and a picture of me from NY last summer with the slogan, "SCOTT KEELIN 2008" (Sorry- it is backwards.) She gave me the cahllenge to pass out the 20 or so she sent me and ask people to vote for me.  =]

CANADIAN CHOCOLATE.  It is called Aero, and it is mint inside, with the slogan, "Have you felt the bubble melt?" Its fantastic.

The Canadian herself.  Dark picture I know- this was the 4th picture I took of her- she was never quite ready.

Taking my FIRST bite of CANADIAN CHOCOLATE.  One small step for man kind, but one BIG step for MARY KEELIN.

That is what it looks like!  Its Green that bubbles!!

The World may never know....

Conference was AMAZING!  I loved it!  =]
I left on friday at about 2:30.  I went with Sister Beatse sister Marissa and her roommate, and a girl I know in my History class, Lexie.  It was fun, I talked a lot so it was not akward, and everyone got along.  We got to Salt Lake at 5:30, with rain off and on along the way.  Then I went to Maureens new apartment and was immediately locked to a chain and put to work paining. I was the tallest, and so I had to get the top.  Once I "touched up on the spots I missed"  I was fed.  I have never felt such hospitality before.
Then I spent the night watching some tv show and went to sleep.  Then I woke up- ate cinammon rolls- and we rushed to Conference.  Maureen had a friend who had tickets, but she could not find her- but luckily there were enough stand-by tickets that even I got in! yay me!  =]
I stayed at Temple Square all day till about 6:00, it rained all day to. My ankle hurt, but I did a lot of walking.  Then for Lunch I got Chinese food, and I saw a girl I new from EFY and my councilor. Then I went to the second session and afterwords I met up with my friend Camille and Katy who had come up with some other people from Santa Maria.  We hung out and talked to each other and our EFY councilor and stuff.
Then I made my way back to Maureens- I stayed there till we went shopping, I got some pants and shirts, (1 pair of jeans and 5 shirts for $50! Good job I say.  =] )  Then we ate at CPK with some friends Maureen knew and then finished the night off with Ice Cream!  It was yummy. =]

On Sunday we went over to some friends of Maureens for the morning session and then between the two sessions I went to Temple Square to see some people I wanted to see, I saw Sister Childs who served her mission in Santa Maria and then I saw Brooke- one of Riana's friends who I love!  It was really pretty- It didn't rain today and was nice and sunny.  Then I met back with Maureen and we needed to do some more shopping before I left at 5.
Then I drove home.
And Now I am home.
It was a good weekend.  I got to see some people I havn't seen in a while and a lot of friends!  =]  It was a good weekend.
Now its school time.  BLAH.

I forgot my camera, annoyingly...so I took pictures with my Computer, because my computer can do that, although it is hard.  So on Sunday, when it was nice, I took some pictures.  Isn't it pretty?
Just a picture of me at Temple Square.  =]  My hair has grown!
This is the best picture I could get with me and the temple- it would have been easier with a camera I do admit.

There were a LOT of people there this weekend!  Less by the time I was walking through right now though.
