The Holiday Season =]

I am Pregnant! Due sometime in August. =]
Last year was the year for weddings, and it shifted to babies! I guess that makes sense.

Joe and I went home for Christmas, to a land full of rain! I think it didn't rain about 3 days that we were in California. ha, but it was much better than snow!
Mom and I baked like Martha Stewart (I would say better than as well....)
Ate yummy food
Saw family
Laughed at Napoleon, 10 pounds, play with Coral, a 5 month Lab. And he definitely won. =]

Now we are in Portland. Not nearly as exciting. They have random crazy streets and it is cold! I know it is only preparing me for Idaho....but I want more sun. =/

December

I got a job!
I am really WAY excited.
'Cause it ISN'T 4 am janitorial.
Or janitorial or 4 am at all.
I get to be a TA!
Which I am super excited for!
I already get to teach the first week of classes winter semester because the teacher will be gone- kinda nervous, but really excited! =]

It definitely helped put me in a better mood after I talked to one of my teachers who, I personally believe, is a jerk.
What sort of teachers DENIES explaining to his students an answer?
Or blames the class for a bad grade when EVERYONE did bad?
Or teaches ONLY greece and the Book of Mormon in a WORLD CIVILIZATIONS class?
Ya. I was a bit upset. And still am.
I have a 77. I am determined to get a B. which means I have to study my butt off for this ONE class to get at least a B on the final. Because, apparently BYU-I has a 54% A rate from teachers (meaning, I guess to say, that teachers give out 54% A's compared to everything else- if that made sense.) so, of course me explaining to him that I felt I deserved a B didn't say anything. Teachers give out A's at this school....why would my hard work in his stupid class give me an A?
Also....I got him to give me 6 extra points on a test, and it raised my grade from a 77.5----->77.6
Lovely, huh?

PS....military reversal DID start around the time of Akhnaton.

But, I go leave for home in 5 days!!! =]

Jane Eyre

It is the final countdown.

9 more days of school.
1 more paper.
4 more tests.
1 more memorization.

I am most nervous about the paper.
On Jane Eyre.
No clue what I am going to write about- my teacher does not seem to be worried.
heh.

But, I thought this was cool:
“Where there is energy to command well enough, obedience never fails”

Christmas Dreaming

I am excited for traditions.

Christmas and traditions just go hand in hand.
The polar express, driving looking at Christmas lights, baking, train sets, yes. Sooo excited. =]
Every Christmas eve my sister's and I would have a sleepover in one of our rooms. I would load up on books and things to keep me busy when I would wake up at 6 am till about 8 when we could go downstairs.
My dad would always read Polar Express with me.
We would always drive around looking at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve.
We never were allowed to open a gift early.
My favorite cookies were made a lot, Starlight Sugar Crisps. =]
Christmas cards would fill our mantel.
Along with all the other goods things like the Christmas tree, music, good smells, etc.

Joe and I decided we want to cook either a duck or goose for Christmas. It just sounds like a very festive christmas. =]

Not this year... maybe next, or the year after when it gets harder to go home.
(3 weeks till CALIFORNIA!!! =] )

Joe really wants us to do Christmas cards, and I really want to make us stockings and decorate, but the money thing has come a problem. But, Shutterfly is doing something really cool for bloggers, 50 free cards! we will see how it goes.
Go here to check it out!

Also...I am now possible more in love with Garlic after going it Iowa, and I now really want to go to the Gilroy Garlic festival!

=[

The face people (Mount Rushmore, Joe can't understand why I call them the face people- I think it makes sense) is about 8-10 hours away from where we currently are in Iowa.
And we cannot go. =[
Also, Mall of America is about 5 hours away.
We also can't go.
It pains me to be so close, and not go, if only they were closer!
Also, gas is a whole $2.50!
Ya...
And, people in South Dakota can legally drive tractors, lawn mowers, 4-wheelers on roads. My cousin said she saw a women picking up her children from school on a lawn mower.
I was impressed.

Iowa

Here is my diagnosis:

Wyoming has too many 'wildlife' jumping in front of cars, you really need a BIG truck with a plow in the front to feel safe.
Also, who has ever heard of freezing fog?
Way to windy.
Idaho's tet pass is stupid! Little old smokey (our car, we named after this 10% grade) left our van smoking. poor old van. =[
Nebraska isn't too bad.
And I am pretty ok with Iowa =]
No snow yet!
Although they do have freezing rain....

I would like to clarify....

That English majors do a LOT more than just WRITE.
"We breathe. We pulse. We regenerate. Our hearts beat. Our minds create. Our souls ingest. Thirty-seven seconds well used, is a lifetime"
(Sorry....got a little carried away with my Mr. Magroium. =] I love that movie!)

But really. Joe suggested that Journalism majors write more than us. Maybe....
But, English is a study of not just writing.
We think, we research, we create, we dive into something so simple and have a way of making in complex. And the complex things we make simple.
Its our way and we like it.

It's important.

Iowa

Any ideas on what there is to do in Iowa in November?

I am thinking I will get a library card somehow.
I have 5 library cards, well, 6 counting the schools. And I have only like in 4 places, two places being 15 miles from each other. One library card I got and never used.
But its turning to be a collection of mine.
I figure I should keep it up, right?

And Pie plates. I think I want to collect pie plates. I have two. Red and blue. I need a white one and I will be all patriotic!

Maybe I can find a pie plate store in Iowa...that would be cool.
Like how there is the christmas store in Solvang....

I miss home.
I am glad the snow melted more today.
I wish it would stay away.

No pictures....

Joe and I are 16/17 done moving.
No pictures.

Because, we are both full time college students.
And our dogs act more like children then any child I have ever known.
And let's just say, we get busy. So, no pictures. of much of anything.

But, christmas lights are going up!
Snow is kinda pretty when it sparkles when you walk by it
Seeing a yard full of leaves with bits of snow in between makes me think gross....I do not know why.
Napoleon is still adorable...
I am working on a wreath, and I am way excited for the results.
And, I make a mean hot chocolate....just sayin.
=]

And the beat goes on...

We are moving!
To Rexburg for those who want to know. =]

It is kind of exciting.
So far I love it.

Downsides:
-No more fire place. =[
-downsize MAJORLEY from 3---> 2 bedrooms and 2--->1 bath and just in all smaller.
-No backyard
-SMALL kitchen
-NO DISHWASHER!!! (which I did not realize until we moved)
-Have to pay for laundry again. =/

Upsides:
-GREAT ward
-Puppy play time!!!!! (this honestly counts for like 10x, because the location is great to let dogs run around, they have dog bags and trash can, and you get to meet so many more people who have dogs- and its just a given, if you have a dog, you are like nicer and more friendly.)
-CHEAPER. Much cheaper. (like, utilities included!)
-Close to campus (really can't get much closer)
-Cable
I know that does not seem balanced, but I really am a LOT happier in Rexburg.
I am even happier with our kitchen, which is strange, since we have NO dishwasher or garbage disposal, and LITTLE counter and cuboard space, but really, it is making me MUCH less cranky then our other kitchen for some reason.
And really, everyone is nice.
I love your ward.
I love where we live.
I love the $$ we will save. =]

And, I LOVE watching Napoleon play in the snow.
Honestly, it is the best thing ever.
He runs around eating it off the ground (avoiding the yellow parts), digs through it to sniff around, and has to much fun hopping through it.
He is in love.
And we are happy. =]

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Happy Halloween!
=]
It does not seem like it at all, I am WAY too excited for Thanks giving and Christmas.
48 days till California!!! =] (christmas)
And Iowa for Thanksgiving- traveling, and good stuff all in between.
So ya, I am excited. =]

We carved pumpkins about a week ago with some friends and watched Young Frankenstein.

Today Joe left for California. =[
I am so jealous.
He gets to be 3 hours from home.
But, I am SURE he will bring me back something. =]
He is good like that. =]

So last night was spent basically getting him ready, then we watched Ikibod and Charlie Browns Haloween movie.
=] It was wonderful.

Plus, it was GREAT to see people trick or treating in neighborhoods everywhere, and even busniesses doing all their trick or treating yesterday.

The end.

6 MONTHS!!!

So, this last weekend, Oct. 16th to be exact...
Marked 6 MONTHS for Joe and I! =]
Yes, time does fly. =]
We celebrated in the best way possible.
A visit to the Temple.
Then dinner with my other BF, as it was her Birthday
(Happy be-lated birthday Camille!!!)

Wonderful. =]

Also, I have whopping cough.
=[
Not joy.

Also, I have 68 books to read this semester...
Just books.
Not textbooks.
Not short stories.
Just books you would normally think to find in a library.
Yeah.
=]

Best day ever. =]
My Best friend.
Here is my (other) best friend Camille. I used to get her in trouble, and I would get away free. That is how it should be. =]

Just around the river bend

We went canoeing this last weekend.
Oh so much fun!
Cold, but not once we got started.
Joe and I had some trouble.
We weren't "n-sync" that much. Kept going in circles.
By the time we got anywhere, I was tired.
But we did get going finally. =]
It was fun. =]
Victor and my best friend Camille, from our home in Santa Maria came with us.
Sure, the sky never got sunny until we got BACK to Rexburg...
But it was way fun. =]

Also...the donut shop in Rexburg, puts WAY too much frosting on their donuts. =[ Yes, the sweet tooth is saying the donuts are TOO sweet. Sad day, but they will do! =]

Post-trip. We got a little wet, and were now cold.

Also, we are moving! To Rexburg. Multiple reasons.
-save time
-more sleep
-convenient
-dogs
-student ward
-More motivation to work out and things like that. =]

We are sort sad, we will miss our 3 bedrooms, nice apartment with a fire place. But, it is for the best!
=]

Proud

I got to say, I am SO proud of these things.
Among many other things.
I just want to say it out loud. (online)

My wonderful bouquet at my wedding.
So pretty.
So simple.
So perfect.
I must say, In my opinion, I have not met anything that can match it.
I am grateful for my wonderful Mother picking out something so wonderful! =]

And... the LA temple. I got to admit, growing up I thought nothing special of the LA temple. When Joe and I got engaged, we talked about it. We realistically could have gone to about ANY temple in California, taking all about the same time. But, we decided that this was OUR temple, the one we have always been assigned too, the one that we have always gone to. If it was not already special to us, we decided to MAKE IT special to us.
And it is. It so very much is.

I love this picture. More than any other picture of us. It is the perfect one. The perfect moment. I remember that just moments before this, Joe and I were standing inside the BEAUTIFUL place together, not caring about anything else in the world. We were holding each other, looking at each other, so full of love and happiness. We didn't want to leave, we were so happy where we were. But, out we went to start out lives. And that is EXACTLY what this picture captures.
Love. Joy. Happiness. Adventure.
I must say, I have never seen one quite like it.

This is why I LOVE the LA temple. I wish all temples had an exit like this for the bride and groom. I wish that they all could capture this moment.
But alas, I will be proud to be one of the few. =]

What we have been up to...

So life here in Rigby is going pretty swell.
Did I tell you the population is 3,007?
And there are 3 stakes?
Ya.

School is going well.
Managing apartments is going well.
We are a full house now- the last two tenants moved into their apartments this last weekend.
It is a busy weekend.

Napoleon is being difficult, finding every hole possible to escape from in the fence in our backyard.
Frustrating.
Luckily, the people in this neighborhood are super nice and the kids always put him back.
Plus, he is always SUPER tired when he does get out- making him nicer for us.

I made homemade pizza last week. And oreoes.
Not very happy about the oreos- Joe loves them, but ehh...I will stick to my starlight sugar crisp cookies instead. =] Oh so much better! (And no sugar in the dough may I add. =] )
But the Pizza was amazing!
Yes, I am very proud of it.
=]
I do rock I believe.

Also, writing papers sometimes is sort of really lame....

Tuesday, September 28, 2010

I'm just too excited...

I should go to bed.
But I realize I like sleep a LOT more when the alarm is going off, not as much when I should go to bed.
But I am excited.
I am not sure why.
I have a test tomorrow.
Ugh....
But, I am SUPER excited that Rexburg has a donut place!
I know, stupid, but tonight Joe and I went to campus to see "Saxophobia" (really good by the way. I have a soft spot for the sax, and it was cool to see all the different types he had.) Then we got some frozen yogurt and were walking around when I passed by the donut shop!!!!
=]
I am oh so happy now!!

By the way:
Rigby population:
3,007. + 2. =]
Rexburg:
26,000.

Really makes you appreciate some things in life.

PERFECT day

Today was a perfect day!

-Church
-Beautiful weather
-Good attitude
-Bike ride with Joseph and the Dogs
(And Napoleon did AMAZING running along side me! Some people may call him small and think little of him (aha!) but I kid you not, he has more attitude and spunk than any big dog I have ever seen! He climbs mountains, will sprint alongside a bike (at his own doing may I add) and play with any big dog. Yes sir, I may not have ever thought of getting a dachshund before, but oh boy- Napoleon is one of a kind!)
|
|---> also may I add that it was the perfect day for a bike ride. =] It was fantastic!
-Pausage for dinner! (This AMAZING meal my mom made while we were home, and we love it! And I once accidentally called it Paussage. So, that is what it is.
-No- bake cookies
-A worn out cuddly puppy
-Movies!

Ahh yes. =]
Today was Oh- so good.

Just some re-caps

I have been uploading some more pictures.
And I realized I missed blogging about some things.
So I will just post them here quickly.

Happy Friday!! =]

(I know that this picture is actually kinda scary of Napoleon, but it is just cute what he gets into. Even though he frustrates Joe to no end sometimes.)

(Penny the day we were moving out of Chowchilla. Good ol' dog.)

(I wanted you to appreciate some of the things of Chowchilla- like the trains that are
CONSTANTLY going by.)

(And....LOTS and LOTS of nut trees. These, happen to be Pistachios.)

(Last night at achievement girls. We played with water balloons.)

(Joe's last day of his internship at AgriLand- we got cool matching hats. =])

(We took a "vacation" one weekend and went camping, this was at Inyo National park, part of this AMAZING hike we went on.)

(Mona lake)

(Yosemite- isn't it pretty?)

(And this is just what happens when you don't let rolls rise... but they taste fine.)

What you ought to know...

So, Joe and I found these AMAZING youtube videos today.

That one in particular is about Autism.
It was very good and very cute.
From what we can tell, he is mormon.

But the other ones are just random and funny.

Really, you should go watch them.

Also, this blog is quite possibly one of my new favorite pass times. We arn't even hard core assistant managers, only having 4 apartments, but still...I think anyone would find these funny.

Sunday, September 12, 2010

And the beat goes on...

School has begun.
I am not sure how I feel about that.
The first day went well.
The second day was a bit more scary.
Ok, a lot more scary.
But I think I can do it.

And GREAT news is, that Joe has dropped to only taking 18 units, and will be adding on one more semester with no more than 15 classes every semester. It really is a HUGE blessing, even though we will be in school longer which we don't want- but it will all work out and we are both SO happy. =]

Although it is lame that I have 17 credits and have already spent MUCH more time on HW then Joe, who has 18 credits. =[
Ya, just a little cranky face.

Well, life is going good.
We had our first Ward activity, and it was fun. We went with some friends to see Jon Schmidt, and it was amazing! Joe taught his nephew on his mission.

Napoleon keeps getting out by crawling underneath the fence, and we keep patching it up, and he keeps getting out.
Apparently he wants to fight Coral, my sisters new puppy.

We are making amazing whole wheat bread, and we love it (especially since we get to grind it ourselves. =])

Life is swell.
=]

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

So, school doesn't start tomorrow.

It is a REALLY happy thought when you get home from the endodontist [Root canal dentist], with a tooth ache like none other because the doctor just drilled into your gums while your awake to repair a root canal gone wrong, [5 % of root canals go bad. Arn't I lucky!!!], and you just spendr the last hour waiting for the pharmacy to give you your pain medicine that you gulf down the second it reaches in your hand because it hurts so much, and THEN you get home- and you are dreading the fact of going to school the next day swollen like a chipmunk- and realize school starts THURSDAY instead of Wednesday. =]
It would make a person OH SO HAPPY.

Did that all make sense?
Are you terrified of the fact that dentist will drill through your gums? Because I still am.
It really really hurts.
Getting my wisdom teeth pulled wasn't that bad.
They knocked me out right away.
Just don't get a root canal.

The end. =]

In the and of Potatoes

We have made it to Idaho.
It was a long trip, starting off Monday and getting here Tuesday night.
But it was made SOOOOO much better with our moms coming and helping!!! =]

We have spent the last few days unpacking (sort of. We just seem to encounter more stuff at every turn.)
Exploring our new city- which is quite nice really. It seems I am destined for small town life- Rexburg, Chowchilla, Rigby. I am amazed at how now, compared to a year ago, I am calling Rexburg big.
Dealing with tenants and making lists of things needed to be done. (Since we are managing a complex, and old tenants are annoying and there will be lots of painting in my near future.)
And shopping, which I am delighted about! Not the whole spending money part, but the fun treasures we find. Like a picnic basket and an old radio that Joe wants to fix up. =] Oh ya.

We are supper excited about our new ward.
Everyone here has already been super nice.
We are even more excited to get our money from school....but not as excited for school to start.

Joe will be taking 21 credits-which includes 2 chemistry classes. I will be taking 18, reading non-stop.
The way Joe's department is set up, he HAS to finish in 4 semesters, 21 credits each semester, 2 chemistry classes each semester.
It really sort of sucks. But, he is eager to get out of school and start working- and would prefer it this way.
So we are going to do it!

It also makes us a bit happy that his advisor and the teacher for half his classes, is in our ward.
Also, my sisters current mission companion- is from Rexburg. And her dad just happens to be my advisor as well.
Fancy that, huh? =]

So basically, that is what is going on.

Life is happy. =]
Napoleon is LOVING eating and chasing all the grass hoppers running around.
I think he likes our new adjustment.
At least until the snow hits.

And by the way....
This is our 'new' van.

Sunday, August 29, 2010

On the road again...

Tomorrow Joe and I are off for Idaho!
And in about a week and a half, we start school.
Then it is a year and a half of straight school, no breaks.
Then, we are done.
Then Joe gets a Job in Hawaii, Guam, or beautiful Central Coast California.
Builds me my dream home.
With lots of land for our puppies (and children of course) to roam around on.
I get a horse.
Write a book.
Save the world.
Sounds good. I wish It didn't take so long to get there!

Today was spent at Oso Flaco.
It was a good day. =]

Love

I love watching Joe clean his tools.
It makes him feel manly.
I love Napoleon.
I really do.
He is just adorable.
Joe says Napoleon likes me more than him.
I am glad.
=]

I love talking to sister missionaries.
They make me feel happy inside.
Especially when they are Tongan (or Polynesian in general)
and they know the "pretty song" I talk about.
And I can say Kau Kau, and we can laugh.

I love waking up in the morning and realizing that I am spooning with Penny.
Not Joe, but his dog.
It's cute really.
Waking up and seeing her cuddling with me.
Precious.

I love aebleskive.
Oh my goodness, have you ever had one?
Go to Danish land.
Eat them.
Love them.
They just very well will make your life better.

I love this conversation:
Joe: Mary, look away from me. Look at me. Away for me. Look at me. Look at Napoleon. I'm a man.

I love the Walmart clown commercial.
Have you seen it?
It will make you smile.

Summer

Coloring books.
Hiking.
Dog Parks.
Fires in the backyard.
Baking.
Sleeping In.
Swimming.
Movies all the time.
Weddings.
Bright Colors.
Flowers.
Fresh Food.

That is my summer. =]
I don't want my fall, which will be filled in with none of the above, and replaced with homework all the time, layers upon layers, and snow all around.

=

Living in Chowchilla made me listen to lots of music.
It made me appreciate words to songs.
Like, "Sounds like life to me"

Got a call last night from an old friend’s wife
Said I hate to bother you
Johnny Ray fell off the wagon
He’s been gone all afternoon
I know my buddy so I drove to Skully’s
And found him at the bar
I say hey man, what’s going on
He said I don’t know where to start

Sarah’s old car’s about to fall apart
And the washer quit last week
We had to put momma in the nursing home
And the baby’s cutting teeth
I didn’t get much work this week
And I got bills to pay
I said I know this ain’t what you wanna hear
But it’s what I’m gonna say

(Chorus)
Sounds like life to me it ain’t no fantasy
It’s just a common case of everyday reality
Man I know it’s tough but you gotta suck it up
To hear you talk you’re caught up in some tragedy
It sounds like life to me

Well his face turned red and he shook his head
He said you don’t understand
Three kids and a wife depend on me
And I’m just one man
To top it off I just found out
That Sarah’s 2 months late
I said hey bartender set us up a round
We need to celebrate

(Chorus)
Sounds like life to me plain old destiny
Yeah the only thing for certain is uncertainty
You gotta hold on tight just enjoy the ride
Get used to all this unpredictability
Sounds like life

Man I know its tough but you gotta suck it up
To hear you talk you’re caught up in some tragedy
Sounds like life to me
Sounds like life

Joe and I are now the (for lack of a better word) proud owners of a mini-van.
After we totaled our car last week (after getting insurance 3 hours before, and now the insurance company thinking we are trying to pull of insurance fraud), it was a bit rough. But hey, we didn't like the car anyway- it just sucks we couldn't have got rid of it in a better way. (like purposefully burning it in a bonfire, maybe? =] )
But hey, sounds like life to me!

We have so much to do. We are finally home, on our BEAUTIFUL CALIFORNIA COAST for 2 weeks, relaxing before school. But things are still bombarding us:
-Insurance agents
-Financial aid
-Moving to Idaho
-Making time to visit all our family and friends
-Errands that are boring
-Training our puppy (who is adorably sleeping next to me! =])
Sounds like life to me!

My family. =]

(Penny and Napoleon on our way to Yosemitte! They LOVE it up there!)
(You have to have some fun when you have a MAC. =] )

Tuesday, August 10, 2010

I really just love this boy

It is one of "those" days.
One of those days where I want to drop everything I am doing.
(Grocery shopping, packing, Frontierville, FB stalking, netflix watching, cleaning) and run away to the mountains.
I want to be alone with my boy.
I want to be loved, and I don't want to care about anything else.
I don't want to think about the car that Joe and I totaled on Friday.
I don't want to think about the call we have to make to insurance:
"Hello- you know how we JUST got insurance from you? Ya, well 3 hours later- we totaled our car."
I don't want to feel connected to FB and everyone else's lives. (Somehow Facebook just makes you feel obligated to their weddings, babies, photos and what ever else.)

I want to lay in the grass and feel the sun shinning on me.
I want to lay in a lake and float all day.
I want to look in his gorgeous brown eyes and smile.
"So this is love"

I just want to love him.
With nobody else around to interfere. To give an opinion on what love means, who love who more, who is the best, what matters or what ever else is going on with people in the world.

I want to hold him. I want to be with him. I want to watch him sleep, and smile that I am so LUCKY to have him. =]

And him too of course. =]

Tuesday, August 3, 2010

Favorite Time

I love sunrise.
Sunsets too.
But there is something about the sun waking up
Because EVERYONE is quiet
and everything is still
and it is so peaceful
and it is just breath taking.

(Yosemite. BEAUTIFUL. Isn't it?)

Hole

Joe is off enjoying the wilderness. =[
My wilderness.
Well, his too. But not his without me. =[
He is with the young Men in our branch here, and left early early this morning, and will be back sometime who knows when tomorrow.
Until then, I am stuck. and bored.

While he is enjoying this:

I will get to be doing this:
(riding my bike for fun.)

Which is nice, because it has not been that hot here lately, and I just put Napoleon in my backpack and we are off to burn some energy!
Then I realize I am alone and bored. =[

Then I come home and realize I have to do this:
-Send out thank you's
-Sweep and Mop
-Pick up and clean in every other aspect
-TRY to eat something other than popcorn and chocolate pancakes
-Laundry

And although I am sure that should 'entertain' me, I know it will not suffice.

Woe to me, woe to me.
But I know Joe and Penny are loving there 20 mile walk today, and at least Joe misses me I am sure. =]

Love like crazy

They called them crazy when they started out
Said seventeen's too young to know what loves about
They've been together fifty-eight years now
That’s crazy

He brought home sixty-seven bucks a week
He bought a little 2 bedroom house on Maple Street
Where she blessed him with six more mouths to feed
Yea that’s crazy

Just ask him how he did it; he'll say pull up a seat
It'll only take a minute, to tell you everything
Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I Love You
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when he quit his job
Said them home computers, boy they'll never take off
He sold his one man shop to Microsoft
They paid like crazy

Just ask him how he made it
He'll tell you faith and sweat
And the heart of a faithful woman,
Who never let him forget

Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I Love You
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy

Always treat your woman like a lady
Never get to old to call her baby
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy

They called him crazy when they started out
They've been together fifty-eight years now

Ain't that crazy?
